    POSITION SUMMARY:
    Provides mammographic imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients. Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
    Utilizes ALARA principles during examinations.
    Implements radiation protection and safety standards.

    Provides Breast Sonography imaging Prepares for and assists the physician in procedures, including breast biopsies, localizations and breast aspirationsEDUCATION/TRAINING:
    Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

    Experience as a Mammographer and Breast Sonographer
    Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtainedLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

    Certification by ARRT in Radiography (RT), Mammography(M), and Breast Sonography (BS) Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency).

    CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.


    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
