Eagle TG is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Reston, Virginia.

Eagle TG will work with candidates that are otherwise fully qualified to help them obtain required certifications such as CompTIA Sec+, ITIL, CISSP, and other required certifications.
Compensation is based on geographical location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
Administers servers, network storage, and other devices.
Performs backup/restore and establishes recurring system backup schedules.
Identifies or responds to Tier II/III trouble tickets; troubleshoots issues, resolves tickets, and ensures resolution is documented.
Maintains/updates system configuration
information/records
as required.
Maintains, tunes, patches, upgrades, and optimizes systems.
Administers Windows and Linux servers, including physical and virtualized servers.
Leads select data center projects.
Develops and maintains automation scripts using VB and PowerShell.
Requirements
Current or ability to obtain a US Gov't Medium Background Investigation (MBI) security clearance
7 years minimum experience in supporting Information Technology environment at the server/data center level
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Experience in backup and recovery systems
Experience resolving and documenting Tier II/III trouble tickets
Experience maintaining, tuning, patching, upgrading, and optimizing system
Experience with Microsoft Server OS and Linux OS
Experience with VMWare
Experience as technical lead on data center projects
Familiarity with Microsoft VB, Powershell, and other
programming/scripting
languages
AAS or better degree in IT related field of study or equivalent
Excellent speaking, writing, and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, especially Excel
Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders
Ability to work with diverse individuals, including cross functional teams
Desired
Experience supporting National Park Service IT services and systems
Bachelor's degree in IT related field of study
ITIL Foundation V3 or better
