POSITION: Business Intelligence Intern
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology (IT)
REPORTS TO: Director, Business Intelligence
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will get involved in the design and development of Power BI dashboards, transforming data into meaningful insights for business and operational leaders and understanding new event management data sources for the purposes of consolidating data and delivering above venue analytics capabilities.
The Business Intelligence Intern is a hands-on team player that provides assistance bringing to life our master data standards and understanding the transformations needed from existing systems to ingest data leveraging the standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES
May include but are limited to the following
+ Work with the BI team to design and deliver dashboards and KPIs.
+ Help drive the transformation approach for data ingestion from third party systems.
+ Hands on creation of analytics and dashboards leveraging the Microsoft stack.
+ Support the completion and adoption of our Nightly Sales Report for events.
+ Learn and grow expertise in the live event industry as it pertains to financial and analytics requirements.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
+ Currently enrolled in a degree program related to information technology, business, or a related field
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
+ Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
