- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic success
- Monitor students' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding effective communication strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress reports
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting (new graduates with relevant fieldwork experience are welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of educational regulations and laws related to special education services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome communication challenges
