- Evaluate transmitted field diagnostics data for accuracy.
- Interact with responders in the field to improve data quality as needed
- Interact with the Joint Technical Operations Team (JTOT) and NSTP Standards division to ensure data accuracy standards are met.
- Collaborate with the NSTP Curriculum Development and Training teams to ensure training activities and exercises are well coordinated with the THT.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Approximate travel requirement up to 20%
- DOE site access and JTOT interactions will require the qualified candidate be a U.S
- Ongoing reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal substances may be conducted as a requirement for ongoing access to DOE sites; the candidate's written consent to conduct such tests may be required as a condition of employment.
- Able to sit for extended periods and perform work in an office environment, including extensive use of computers, under sometimes stressful conditions.
- Able to work after hours when required during exercises
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to work in an environment that changes rapidly.
- Must be an independent, self-starter with excellent organizational skills and an ability to multi-task and be comfortable working with a team of technical experts in varying fields of security and emergency operations disciplines.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform in a dynamic environment
- Active Q Clearance
- Experience in spectral analysis and nuclear diagnostics
- Experience in CWMD/Rad/Nuc processes and procedures
