Position Summary:

As an Equipment Refurbishment Supervisor, you will oversee the rebuilding, assembly, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical induction equipment. You will lead technicians, coordinate workflow, ensure quality and safety compliance, and troubleshoot complex system issues. This role plays a critical part in restoring used induction heating and melting equipment to meet company standards and customer expectations.

Job Duties:

• Team Leadership & Management- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the activities of electrical and mechanical technicians. Assign tasks, train new employees, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Production Oversight- Establish work methods and workflows. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to meet deadlines and improve productivity.
• Troubleshooting & Technical Support- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in automated systems, control systems, power supplies, and peripherals. Provide on-site and remote technical support.
• Quality & Safety Assurance- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Inspect work for quality and maintain safe working conditions.
• Machine Setup & Preventative Maintenance- Assist with equipment setup, commissioning, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance activities.
• System Optimization- Recommend upgrades, system improvements, and modifications to enhance reliability and operation efficiency.
• Logistics & Reporting- Requisition materials and supplies. Maintain shop organization and prepare production status reports.

What you need to be successful:

• Strong electrical and mechanical experience, including control panel wiring and power conversion systems.
• Experience interpreting control diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of induction heating and melting equipment preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
