    Qualifications
    • Expertise in government entitlements & benefits (SSI, Medicaid)
    • Associate's Degree or equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications and strong organizational skills
    • Strong people skills, with excellent written and verbal communication
    • Valid NYS driver's license
    Job Responsibilities Include:
    • Maintain all entitlements (Medicaid, Medicare and Part-D plans, Food Stamps, SSI & SSA) for people in residential programs.
    • Resolve outstanding benefit issues with all state and local agencies including OPWDD, SSA, DSS; schedule visits as needed.
    • Complete all benefit applications/ recertifications, Disability Determinations, Representative Payee reports. Maintain and update Entitlements tracking systems including Medisked.
    • Complete monthly deposit reviews, rent calculations, semi-annual Clothing Allowance requests.
    • Coordinate with Admissions Dept. to complete new admissions or discharge process.
    • Collaborate with Assist. Director of Entitlements, assist with supporting team members and volunteers
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
