    Responsibilities

    Peraton provides high-end Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to government clients. We are currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer with a background in integrating telecommunications systems. The candidate will provide technical support for a program that delivers a broad range of engineering and scientific services to a national level customer. The Program provides cradle-to-grave engineering support for the definition, design, development, integration, verification, fielding, and eventual termination/disposal of the system and system components. Peraton is looking for team members with the depth and breadth to answer complex technical questions across the program. The candidate will provide support for various projects involving integrating tools developed by outside vendors into a functioning network system. The candidate will interface with clients and other contractors. Communication is key to success in this position. The candidate will:
    • Participate in the design and definition of system functionality and component interfaces
    • Develop system solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the system development life-cycle
    • Work with systems engineers on requirements definition, development, standards, and testing
    • Interact with clients on technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organization lines
    • Candidate selected must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
    Qualifications

    Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 10+ years with Ph.D,

    OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of BS

    The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to analyze and assess a problem, decompose complex issues, and develop solutions and strategies to operational scenarios. Additional qualifications include:
    • Background in telecommunications networks
    • Excellent communication skills

    Target Salary Range

    $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
