As a Collector II at our company, you will be responsible for handling defaults and delinquencies with our members' accounts. Your main mission will be to advocate for our members, maintain strong relationships with them, and ensure top-notch member service standards. Sounds good, right?

• Provide assistance and support to members facing financial difficulties by finding payment arrangements that work for both parties
• Handle escalated member issues when necessary
• Work on assigned collection queues, reaching out to members via telephone and email to collect overdue payments on various financial products
• Review and manage accounts for loan workout arrangements like extensions, modifications, and forbearance
• Identify accounts that need adverse action and work closely with internal business partners to resolve them
• Suggest improvements in processes and procedures to enhance efficiency
• Perform skip tracing to locate delinquent members' contact information
• Participate in department projects and assist in training new team members
• Contribute to system upgrades and ensure quality control

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a collections role, preferably in the financial services sector
• Basic understanding of financial service industry regulations
• Knowledge of loan calculations and strong time management skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information
• Familiarity with core banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite
