Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the System Administrator for a large Linux enterprise system include maintaining, upgrading, and supporting Linux systems and infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving problems, communicating technical solutions, testing patches, and working with various technical environments
The ideal candidate should have experience in traditional and Cloud environments.

• Take proactive measures to oversee system infrastructure, encompassing databases, testing computer equipment, and various software and hardware components.
• Offer technical support for both hardware and software-related issues.
• Conduct system monitoring and analysis to guarantee the integrity and accessibility of all hardware, while troubleshooting servers, software, and hardware irregularities.
• Conduct regular upgrades of system software and firmware as needed.
• Aid in the integration of new applications and technologies into the existing system

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of system administration experience.
• In-depth RHEL knowledge.
• Scripting proficiency in Perl, Python, or Bash.
• IP network understanding.
• Hardware familiarity (Servers, Blade Chassis, Fiber Channels, SANs).
• After-hours support capability.
• Adaptability.
• System security awareness.
• Experience with RH Directory Server or FOSS alternatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Independence, positive self-motivation.
• IA certification (Security+ or CISSP)

Required Education:

• BS degree in Computer Science or similar field preferred, relevant work experience may be substituted
