Job Description:
Weekly nurses are responsible for:
administering scheduled and PRN medications to campers
managing illnesses for campers and staff
first aid and medical treatments/procedures for campers and staff
overall care of campers and staffers throughout the week
Every camp employs at least one college-aged summer staff health assistant. These are Christ-centered, high-quality, excited college students eager to minister the Gospel through health care. Being a camp nurse is an opportunity to also mentor these students, many of whom end up working in the medical field after graduation.
Applicants must have an active nursing license and a minimum of one year of nursing experience. An RN license or higher is preferred.
