    UOVO seeks a Director of Operations to join its dynamic and growing team. Reporting to the General Manager of Colorado & Texas, this role would oversee all technical staff in Colorado ensuring the highest level of care and client service as pertains to the handling, storage, and transportation of fine art, fashion, and other collectibles. The ideal candidate will lead, manage, and mentor the Denver & Aspen Operations team while regularly coordinating with key stakeholders within the organization.

    Core Responsibilities
    • Manage a team of UOVO professionals including Operations Managers, Coordinators, Supervisors, Art Handlers/Drivers, and Craters, to ensure the highest level of client service
    • Oversee the efficient and safe handling of all storage, across Denver & Aspen, including racking, forklift training, OSHA compliance, barcoding, scanning, and inventory management.
    • Ensure all service work is scheduled and executed in an efficient and timely manner in support of Account Management and Business Development. This includes the Warehouse, Crating, and Transportation teams in Denver & Aspen.
    • Align the Denver & Aspen team with all of UOVO policies and procedures, as well as any other pertinent company initiatives.
    • Provide technical support as needed for any large service jobs or projects based in Denver & Aspen, including but not limited to some off-site work and coordination.
    • Work to hit budgetary targets as it pertains to income and expenses.
    • Oversee all supply and equipment procurement for Denver & Aspen; process any relevant AP.
    • Act as the main point of contact for Operations where it pertains to setting up of a new facility within the Denver & Aspen area.
    • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members to the Denver & Aspen Operations team, working to ensure all applicable training is provided.
    • In conjunction with other key stakeholders, establish goals and objectives in line with UOVO's Performance Management program; providing semi-annual feedback and completing annual performance reviews for all direct reports and subsequent team members.
    • Create a positive and engaging work environment by mentoring, coaching, and motivating direct reports and their team members.
    • Other projects as assigned by the Manager.
    Qualifications & Skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to think creatively
    • Experience managing complex operational processes
    • Superior leadership skills, with a focus on team member coaching and development ? Strong capabilities with database and information systems software
    • Poise in a fast-paced business environment
    • Occasional need to lift, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, ability to pull/push 150 pounds on a dolly or a cart or 50 lbs unaided.
    • 7 + years in warehousing, project management, and/or logistics (art logistics preferred but not required)
    This in-person position requires on-site presence at UOVO's Denver facility five days a week with regular visits to our Aspen location and/or other job sites.
