    Description:

    Answers incoming calls and emails in a professional and effective manner inbound calls)

    Assist customers with their questions on the products and pricing

    Entering orders promptly and accurately – this may include special or large volume projects orders a day. 1 line item to 70 line items)

    Email - inbound emails would be between 30-40 a day

    Servicing the East Coast mostly

    Assisting with Architecture products, over 6,000 skew numbers

    Managing backorders by proactively following up with relevant parties with updated lead time information.

    Developing a strong understanding of their products and able to assist customers with product selection and basic trouble shooting.

    Providing pricing and availability to customers, including quotes that require adherence to their Quality Management System (QMS ) procedures.

    Investigating and resolving any issues or difficulties with a customer.

    Providing invoice copies, proof of delivery (POD), and other supplemental order information.

    Coordinating product literature and sample orders, as needed, with Sales Team.

    Actively contributing during team meetings with project updates and customer feedback.

    Assisting management team with special projects, reporting and problem analysis.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Must Haves:

    1 year of professional office experince

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    Nice Haves:

    Bachelor's Degree Strongly preferred (post high school education highly preferred)

    ERP software (sage)

    CRM software (Sugar)

    Soft Skills:

    Solution-oriented approach to customer service

    Someone that takes initiative

    Someone that asks good questions/gets curious

    Must be team oriented with good problem solving, planning and organizational skills.

    Attention to detail and solution oriented mindset

    Multi-tasking
