    Description

    Job Profile Summary: All drivers run daily routes with frequent stops, load packages onto hand trucks, and unload products. The candidate will operate in a cross-dock model picking up a loaded truck and returning the empty truck at the end of the route. Occasionally, assist with loading-trucks, palletizing products, and other duties assigned.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
    • Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
    • Unload and place products in customer storage areas, may involve transporting products in various conditions.
    • Frequently lift, push, or move products, stack and unstack pallets and hand carts, bend, twist, and retrieve items from the trailer.
    • Verify delivery with customers, obtain signatures, and communicate errors/returns.
    • Address customer complaints professionally.
    • Handle company equipment properly, follow safety rules, and perform inspections.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum Requirements:

    • 21+ years of age.
    • Background check and drug screen required.
    • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean record.
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
    • May need to lift, push or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
    • Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • 1 year customer delivery experience.
    • 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience.
    • 6 months Food and Beverage experience.
    • 2 years consistent work history.
