- Support the Compliance Officer in overseeing the compliance program including investigating and resolving issues.
- Assist with the collection of information for regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Officer on internal audits and regulatory exams.
- Assist with preparing reports and evaluating data.
- Collaborate with internal departments to establish and enforce compliance procedures.
- Provide updates to team members and management as needed.
- Identify discrepancies in collected data and suggest possible solutions.
- Ability to handle confidential information ethically and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge and expertise in applicable laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum of 2 years in financial compliance, audit, or similar function. Must have a track record showing employment stability.
- Bachelors degree is required.
- Must be proactive and have keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional work ethic, integrity, team spirit and judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office programs.

This position works with the Compliance Officer to ensure adherence with state and federal regulations as well as internal policies and procedures. The role includes ensuring compliance with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/ Anti-Money Laundering (AML), USA Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations.
