Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
- ACLS and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
- Typically requires 2 years of experience in Cath, EP, or ER nursing.

As a member of the Cath Lab/Cardiology team, you will have the opportunity to work within a close-knit, and experienced team that provides safe and thoughtful care to our patient population. Typical patients are Cardiac focused, and our team is highly experienced within Cardiology. Working with great expertise fosters our team members professional practice, goals and support system.
We are looking for RN's who can contribute to this high performing team, previous Cath/Cardiac/ EP will be highly preferred; ED experience may also be considered.
Department operates 2 Cath and EP Labs and RN's will be cross trained for both areas and may tech as well. Procedures can range from 2-16 cases per day. Procedures you can expect within Cath Lab nursing involve circulating heart catheterizations, angioplasties, STEMI's, structural heart, peripheral procedures, pacemaker and ICD procedures.
This is a full--time position, 36 hours per week with call requirements. Typically, Cath positions work Mon-Friday day shift, 8, 9 or 10-hour shifts. Schedule requires rotation for variable start times and end times. On call for nights, weekends and holidays required.
