    Job Description/Summary:

    As a Director, Maintenance and Engineering, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating operations and functionalities of facilities and buildings for our organization. This position ensures the efficient and effective management of surrounding grounds or multiple facilities across the property.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement maintenance and engineering policies, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient operation of facilities.
    • Manage facilities maintenance and engineering teams, including hiring, training, motivation, and performance management.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve organizational goals and objectives related to facilities management.
    • Secure and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers for maintenance, construction, and renovation projects.
    • Implement and maintain budgetary controls for maintenance and engineering activities, ensuring cost-effective performance.
    • Develop and establish preventative maintenance programs to ensure safety and optimal functionality of facilities.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
    • Spearhead the planning, design, and execution of construction projects, including renovation or expansion efforts.
    • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

    Education
    • Bachelor's degree or master's Degree in a related field is preferred.
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
    Certifications
    • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
    • Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
    • Certified Plant Engineer (CPE)
    • Additional certifications may be required or preferred.
    Additional Responsibilities:
    • Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
