Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our company Assets. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and project fulfillment based on daily needs. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of Asset Management best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

2. Plan and coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime and ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.

3. Manage fleet inventory, including vehicle procurement, disposal, and replacement strategies to optimize fleet performance and cost-effectiveness.

4. Experience managing and administrating GPS/Data collection systems for incident review.

5. Management and implementation of FMCSA Regulations and DOT Regulations.

6. Monitor fuel usage, maintenance costs, and overall fleet expenses to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

7. Supervise and train fleet maintenance staff, drivers, and other personnel to ensure safe and efficient operation of vehicles.

8. Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and other fleet-related activities.

9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to negotiate favourable terms and ensure quality services.

10. Analyze data and generate reports on fleet performance, maintenance trends, and cost analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.

11. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in fleet management technology to continuously improve fleet operations.

12. Assist with other tasks as needed within the Asset Department

13. Assist with maintaining databases for all Asset related items as needed.

14. Assist with office tasks as needed

15. Ensure work / tasks conform to QMS requirements.?

Qualifications:

11. Strong in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, etc.)

12. Strong in Smartsheet

13. Working knowledge of Fleet Management & ERP systems. ie. Fleetmatics, Geotab, Asset Works, or similar.

14. Prior experience with large diverse fleet preferred.

15. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

16. Knowledge of DOT requirements.

17. Excellent written and oral communication skills must be able to communicate effectively through all levels of the organization.
