Job Description:
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for working on exciting and engaging land development and infrastructure projects in a hybrid work environment
Responsibilities:
Ability to work with project teams and/or independently on all aspects of projects including project set-up, drafting, design, quality review and quality assurance, project coordination/organization, etc.
Prepare and modify construction documents, reports, specifications, and designs for the project.
Analyze maps, reports, drawings, as-builts, and test results for design projects.
Assist with post-design construction support services to respond to RFI's, submittal reviews, as-built preparation, and field observations.
Work alongside office staff and management to successfully complete projects within the established budgets and deadlines.
Conduct site inspections
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology Preferred
4+ years of full-time, relevant land development engineering experience
Land Development experience
Proficient AutoCAD/Civil 3D
Understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic processes
Knowledge of Stormwater Management Design, Erosion, and Sediment Control Plan Design, and associated Environmental Permitting Services
Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and techniques with reference to construction materials, methods, and procedures
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Professional Engineers License in Virginia (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months
