What is this career opportunity?
Do you enjoy researching information technology to resolve business challenges related to accounting and budgeting? Our SABHRS Computer Systems Analyst position may be for you This position reports to the Operations Manager of the Financial Services Technology Bureau (SABHRS Financials & IBARS) and is responsible for researching and making recommendations to division leadership. This is a part-time position and is expected to last for up to 1.5 years.

What are we looking for?
Education and Experience:

·A Bachelor's degree in a business, computer science or related field and 10 years applicable experience. AND

·Familiarity with SABHRS Financials or IBARS and experience in an Enterprise Resource Planning or Accounting/Budgeting system. OR

·Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Competencies:

·Knowledge of financial, budget and accounting business processes and practices.

·Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures associated with the design, development, and support of computer financial applications.

·Knowledge of MS Office software products and ability to learn new tools quickly.

·Use analyses and judgment to make decisions to solve complex problems.

·Understand system data integrity and apply information security standards.

·Identify and consider possible alternatives before making decisions.

·Find effective solutions while considering short-term and long-term impact.

·Work independently and as part of a team.

·Follow policies, procedures, and industry standards.

·Build constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers.
