    We are seeking a Business Development Consultant (Hybrid Wholesaler) to join our US Retail sales team in Nashville, TN.

    We are looking for a Business Development Consultant (Hybrid Wholesaler) for our US Retail sales team which is dedicated to supporting firm sales initiatives, client servicing and relationship-building efforts.

    This is an opportunity to promote the sale of AB's proprietary mutual fund, ETF, SMA and alternative investment services through third-party distribution channels while gaining an understanding of client needs and assisting with development of relevant sales ideas.

    This role will heavily leverage data analysis and digital outreach to provide a targeted, personalized client experience, and encompasses a unique opportunity to inform and influence new distribution approaches.

    A data-driven mindset is key along with a strong team orientation.

    The candidate will interact with financial advisors and is expected to take an entrepreneurial approach to growing sales and revenues.

    (90% virtual and 10% in-market)

    Proactively develop impactful relationships with financial advisors in a targeted approach by leveraging data and digital technologies to increase the number of advisors that do business with AB, as well as maximize the sales potential from existing clients.

    Execute on targeted sales initiatives, through a data-driven client segmentation strategy, to identify, prioritize, and convert new producers.

    Analyze data to deepen understanding of client/prospect business needs and test, measure and refine tactics to increase the level - and impact - of client/prospect engagements.

    Develop sales strategies and ideas independently, execute on prospective sales leads from a variety of sources, and deliver consistent value through proactive phone calls, emails, virtual presentations and in-person meetings.

    A college degree in finance or similar field.
    ~3-5 years of client-facing experience, growing sales in the financial services industry
    ~ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as the ability to recognize business trends, opportunities and risk/exposure to drive engagement and outcomes
    ~ Ability to be self-directed and work independently with integrity, self-accountability and sound business judgment
    ~ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce/CRM experience, with the ability to learn other sales enablement tools
