Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioners to become a part of our team You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team providing a unique comprehensive treatment plan to a wonderful population of retirees.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses of the musculoskeletal system
Plan for x-ray guided injections for the patient
Provide joint injections of the knee, hip, and shoulder
Provide comprehensive treatment of interventions, therapy, and non opiate medications
Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Minimal opiate management

Qualifications:

Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
Experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics, or Spinal Medicine
Boarded as a Physical Therapist or Massage Therapist is a plus to help develop comprehensive treatment options
Experience with bracing of the back and knees is ideal
Experience with evidence based musculoskeletal supplementation is a plus
Ability to build rapport with patients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent documentation skills
