    We are currently seeking qualified and highly motivated individuals for the position Head of Patient Services, Americas, Rare Diseases, reporting to the Head of the Americas, Rare Diseases Business Unit.

    The Head of Patient Services is an important member of the Americas Rare Diseases Leadership Team and will lead the Chiesi's Patient Services Function in effort to deliver best-in-class patient services.

    It will require approximate 35/5% (domestic / international) travel. Travel includes quarterly business reviews with partners coupled with corporate and internal meetings as required.
    The position requires a strategic leader with a broad-based knowledge of patient services with an emphasis on providing strategic direction and functional oversight
    Lead the integrated Patient Services and Patient Education Functions within the Chiesi Global Rare Diseases Business Unit in the Americas

    Responsible for the development of strategic plans and the operational oversight of the Chiesi Total Care end-to-end patient services programs.

    Lead the collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Supply Chain, Distribution, IT and Finance to identify and monitor deliverables and key performance indicators related to Patient Services / Dispensing / Distribution functions
    Develop and manage the operational budgets consistent with the goals and objectives of the company, including efficient management of partners, vendors and contracted resources
    A minimum of 10 plus years of rare diseases Patient Services Experience, with a minimum 5 years in senior leadership position
    Deep experience in building out Specialty Pharmacy Provider operations as well as internal and external Patient Services HUB functions, required
    Advanced analytical skills, including experience directing and managing activities related to channel and patient services performance reporting
    Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel (Articulate Storyline and/or Captivate skills preferred
    Able to function professionally and constructively on both individual and team-oriented projects with a high level of organizational skills
    Able and willing to travel as required (domestically and internationally) including some evening, weekend and overnight travel
