    Who we're looking for

    Toyota's Dealer Funding Team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Learning Specialist who has affinities for learning and development.

    The primary responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Create, design, and maintain Dealer Funding training and informational materials including but not limited to policies, procedures, & process updates.
  • Communicate and educate the Dealer Funding Team on these materials through the facilitation of new hire training, formalized learning sessions, & real-time information-sharing sessions.
  • Identify and analyze opportunities for increasing process efficiencies and compliance.
  • Implement surveys, knowledge checks, and other creative ways to gauge team members' understanding of procedural or process changes post-training.
    Reporting to the Dealer Funding Manager the person in this role will support the Dealer Funding department's objective to support TFS' Dealer Funding teams.

    What you'll be doing

  • Develop, update, and maintain Dealer Funding informational material and facilitate formalized learning sessions.
  • Maintain fluency of FOPP, TT&R, Knowledge, FSBs, and other resources to ensure funding compliance.
  • Design instructional material that is clear, concise, and aligns with Brand Expectations.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, peers, and leadership to provide the Dealer Funding Team with timely, accurate, and valuable information sessions.
  • Arrange and conduct real-time information-sharing sessions for Dealer Funding Team Members
  • Oversee all logistical setup for training classes; including but not limited to room reservations, course materials, room set up, system access, scheduling guest speakers, etc.
  • Deliver all content and facilitate training, utilizing various available learning channels as required for newly hired team members, existing team members as well and corporate partners.
  • Observe and monitor new hires throughout training and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Stay current with compliance trends and areas of organizational risk.
  • Identify and address learning opportunities with the leadership team to support the understanding of policies and procedures to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction. Ensure information sessions regarding policy and procedural updates are delivered timely and uniformly across the enterprise.
  • Provide continuous education to team members.
  • Report completion of training by all attendees to applicable stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Dealer Funding Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) supporting the department's real-time updates.
  • Coordinate individualized learning sessions for team members.
  • Analyze reporting data to identify areas of opportunity for growth and learning agility.
  • On-site liaison for Dealer Funding Team training needs
  • Responsible for organizing DFT's internal audit needs - compiling and reporting results.
  • Maintain electronic learning database and learning plans for the department.
  • Provide feedback of SMEs to leadership on development opportunities

  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications

  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance to support team and business objectives.
  • Able to work flexible hours, which may include day, evening, and weekend hours, holidays, and mandatory overtime
  • Be at work on time, to return from breaks and lunch periods on time, and to leave the work area after the end of their scheduled workday (applicable to jobs subject to attendance policy)
