    Summary:


    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and devices throughout our product development cycle.

    This role combines procurement, inventory management, logistics, project support, and administrative tasks to keep projects on track.


    Responsibilities:

    Procurement and Inventory Management:
    Generate purchase requests (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) for materials and devices.
    Ensure timely arrival of materials through purchase order tracking.
    Manage inventory levels for raw materials, pre-build materials, finished devices, and accessories.
    Create and manage inventory requests from operations.
    Reconcile purchases with deliveries for accuracy.
    Maintain an accessory list for testing purposes.
    Utilize a P-card to purchase components for the engineering team.

    Warehousing and Logistics:
    Coordinate device and material shipments between company locations, vendors, test houses, and other destinations.
    Manage the general organization and storage of materials and devices in a designated area.
    Track devices through a tracking system, updating information as needed.
    Move and manage finished devices to a controlled location in Engineering.
    Distribute devices based on the distribution plan.
    Interface with the Shipping/Receiving Team to deliver purchased components.

    Project and Engineering Support:
    Create Stock Withdrawal and Replenishment System (SWARS) based on project needs.
    Collaborate with Manufacturing and Test Engineering to align SWARs with project schedules.
    Coordinate providing raw materials/parts needed to support SWARs.
    Manage device re-work as needed with the engineering lab.
    Create and maintain a portfolio list (likely tracking project components).
    Assist CRB (Change Request Board) activities and update project information logs (PILs).
    Track prototype development.
    Provide support to project engineers and program managers with various tasks.


    Finance and Administration:
    Assist with finance reviews by aligning monthly charges to purchase orders and inventory transactions.
    Support CRB Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with critical JIRA issues.
    Maintain Project Information Log (PIL) metrics for timely closure.
    Process scrap authorizations and Material Disposition Orders (MDOs) for damaged devices.


    Qualifications:
    High school diploma or equivalent required.
    Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a procurement, inventory management, or logistics role preferred.
    Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    Experience with inventory management systems and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software a plus.
    Familiarity with basic accounting principles helpful.
    Working knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) beneficial.
