Coastal Smiles is a newly established private practice located in Costa Mesa, built on the belief that dentistry should feel personal, comfortable, and welcoming. Our space was thoughtfully designed to create a calm, modern environment where patients feel at ease and team members feel proud to work. As we continue growing, we are excited to add a dedicated Dental Assistant who enjoys patient care and thrives in a supportive team setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after procedures
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of clinical treatments including restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and emergency care
- Capture and manage digital radiographs in compliance with safety standards
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols
- Guide patients through treatment steps and provide clear post-visit instructions
- Keep instruments, materials, and supplies organized and well stocked
- Occasionally support front office tasks such as greeting patients or confirming appointments
- Contribute to a positive, teamwork-focused office atmosphere
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant certification
- Current X-ray license and CPR certification
- Prior assisting experience is helpful, though motivated new graduates are welcome
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
