Overview:
Responisble for accurate tracking of Diagnostic Related Group (DRG) denials to ensure appropriate reimbusement for services rendered. Works closely with Revenue Cycle Leadership and Physicians to review findings and determine appeal status. Assists with medical record merging for patient care and proper billing.

Coordinates medical record amendments for patients, working with physicians and other clinical providers to ensure the integrity of the legal medical record.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree

Five to seven years

Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator licensed through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
