    The Capital Projects Coordinator facilitates the timely and successful delivery of Pace's construction and major facility projects by managing various administrative tasks and coordinating team activities. As part of the Business Services division, this role supports the work of project managers and senior leadership to develop, sustain, and improve Pace's long-term property investments.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    Required
    • High school degree or GED.
    • Valid Florida driver's license.
    • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable project coordination experience.
    Preferred
    • 3+ years of demonstrable project coordination experience in a related field.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
    • Related professional certification.
    Roles and Responsibilities
    • Organizes and maintains project documentation for new construction, buildouts, remodels, and major facility repairs and renovations.
    • Coordinates with the Finance and Contract Administration departments to facilitate procurement processes.
    • Tracks and reconciles project costs in coordination with the Finance department.
    • Coordinates with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities on permitting processes.
    • Facilitates issuance of project notices and orders to contractors.
    • Manages a comprehensive project calendar and schedules meetings.
    • Coordinates with project managers and Center administrative staff to schedule facility work.
    • Tracks and maintains Notices to Owner and lien waivers.
    • Assists with preparation of project plans and reports.
    • Assists with zoning- and land use-related applications.
    • Develops training documents on critical facility operations.
    • Coordinates with Center staff to ensure a smooth transition from project completion to occupancy.
    • Documents and advises on processes and procedures.
    • Participates in team meetings and activities as required.
    • Other duties as assigned.
