    Job Description

    Job DescriptionSchedule: In office daily for 90 days of training. Hybrid 2 days in office after training on Mondays and Wednesdays, work from home on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

    Responsibilities:
    • Ability to handle all types of entries and commodities
    • Ability to handle various government agency transmission - Advanced understanding of Import regulations
    • Ability to research basic items within Customs regulations, CROSS, and
    • Ability to assist newer staff with basic entry processing knowledge
    • Ability to read tariffs and help assign HTS - Ability to ask Importer questions necessary for proper classification
    Requirements:
    • 3+ years of Import Customs Entry Writing experience with a freight forwarding company
    • CCS certification preferred
    • Bachelor's degree suggested but not required
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Basic working knowledge of Excel
    • Desk management – organization & management of emails.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Team player
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Ability to work independently and manage desk to defined service levels
    • Communicate with manager when unable to meet service levels
    • Problem-solving skills.
