Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business System Analyst to provide services for the Inmate Tracking System (ITS) and Inmate Records Information System (IRIS) Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and understand the scope and business requirements of the ITS project, working closely with business analysts and developers to create specifications, interface design documents, and complete data compliance reviews as needed.
Implement multifactor authentication, active directory integration, and single sign-on as needed for the ITS project, collaborating with project subject matter experts.
Support and complete tasks assigned with the ITS project operational readiness review.
Aid in completing tasks assigned with training users for the ITS project.
Complete project tasks scheduled to be completed for the IRIS project.
Validate technical requirements for the IRIS project.
Complete business analysis documentation as needed for the IRIS project interfaces: Healthlink/EPIC, and DataWorks.
Complete tasks as assigned for the IRIS project.
Conduct Spartan device testing for the ITS project with the TSS network support team.
Support developers and complete testing tasks assigned for testing of interfaces for the ITS project.
Consult and provide hands-on support to ensure user acceptance testing is conducted, collaborating with business analysts and the project team.
Provide disaster recovery support and complete disaster recovery tasks assigned for the ITS project.
Provide operational support as assigned to both the ITS and IRIS projects.
Provide knowledge transfer to County resources as needed to continue operations and support for the ITS and IRIS projects.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Two or more years of experience as a senior business system analyst working on large-scale projects and handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
Experience working in the Public, Safety, and Justice domain as a senior business analyst.
Strong business analysis skills, including understanding Waterfall and Agile principles.
Project management ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point.
Data analysis experience, understanding of indices, fundamentals, and analytical data.
Proficiency with MSSQL, extracting data, building queries, data validation, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerBI.
Data migration experience.
Excellent experience analyzing, gathering requirements for system integration of interfaces and data exchanges.
Strong technical security knowledge, specifically complying with criminal justice information system data.
Technical understanding of operating systems, applications, databases, networking, and security systems.
Authoring, documenting, and diagramming experience.
Ability to provide mentoring to junior business analysts.
Relationship building skills.

Leadership ability to influence and guide business stakeholders.
Teamwork and collaboration skills.
