    Office Supervisor Position Summary


    As a member of the care team, plans, coordinates and supervises overall operations of the office under supervision of Practice Manager.

    Orients and trains support staff on systems to assure compliance with regulations, policies and procedures of the practice. Interviews and selects new staff as necessary. Conducts daily huddles with staff.

    Supervises team members to include strategies to engage and retain staff, reward and recognize good performance, and coach and discipline staff when required.

    Office Supervisor Position Requirements
    High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree strongly preferred
    Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

    At least three years of experience working in a healthcare environment required; experience working in a bariatric practice strongly preferred.

    Familiarity with medical terminology and various insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance required.
    Must be proficient working with an EMR, Epic preferred.

    Office Supervisor Work Schedule
    Monday through Friday, Day Shift
