    Location: Corporate Satellite Office - Availability at St. Louis, MO | Lawrenceville, GA | Meridian, ID | West Des Moines, IA
    Starting Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience)
    Employment Type: Full-Time, Salary
    Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote), Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm*

    Job Summary:
    The IT SAP Functional Analyst 1 (FI/CO) will provide SAP production support, implement solutions to streamline operations and support business goals, and participate in smaller-scale software implementations. Primary responsibilities include being the first-line SAP support for FICO-related support tickets, escalating tickets to the FICO Analyst 2 & 3 when necessary, delivering the configuration of FICO modules in accordance with business requirements, and leading the continuous improvement and documentation initiatives. As part of production support, this role will serve as the lead in resolving SAP support tickets, providing end user support and training, troubleshooting issues, testing and writing documentation. This position will interact with the business for the resolution of customer support tickets and technical configurations. The ability to provide cross-functional support for integration issues, deliver enhancements, effectively consult and collaborate with the team and other IT functions, provide training, and contribute to the success of team members is essential in this role.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    * Provide superior customer service to end users for SAP and non-SAP application support by monitoring, assigning, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues that are submitted by users through our ticketing system, TargetProcess, accurately and timely.

    Monitor support tickets to ensure that items are being proactively resolved by the team in accordance with Customer Support Standards and report status weekly to the IT FICO Manager.

    Create and maintain data on Requests, Stories and Tasks, including Planned Dates in the Project System of record, currently Target Process.

    Proactively identify and implement functional and technical changes to improve the timeliness and accuracy of business transactions by recommending configuration and non-configuration solutions to internal customers.

    Research production problems, perform root cause analysis, document solutions, and implement countermeasures to prevent reoccurring issues.

    Collaborate with business users to analyze business processes, define solutions, and communicate required changes.

    Accurately configure FI/CO Modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, A/P, A/R, Assets, and major areas of Controlling including Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability analysis), Global and Enterprise structure settings.

    Plan and implement configuration changes and coordinate/validate user testing and deployment to production.

    Validate and maintain data, mapping rules, and process flows for different business areas.

    Capture detailed meeting records during project meetings and user group meetings.

    Lead and improve the process for the documentation initiative.

    Develop and revise standard operating procedures, user documentation, business process workflows and training materials.

    Translate business requirements into detailed functional/techncial specifications

    Participate in smaller-scale FICO software implementations.

    Deliver solutions by effectively communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT Applications, Infrastructure, SAP Basis, Security, Data Integration, Architecture, Business Resource Managers, the Business, and Management.

    Develop technical solutions as defined and documented during blueprinting.

    Participate in functional, unit, regression, and integration testing for go-lives and software updates.

    Proactively provide updates and engage the FICO Manager on risks, vendor or team performance issues, and business process issues.

    Requirements:

    * Bachelor's degree in a technical areas such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting or Business. Equivalent training and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

    * At least 2 years of previous experience working on SAP with the Finance/Controlling environment.

    Strong understanding of an experience with FI/CO terminology and methodology. (i.e., Product Costing, Fixed Assets, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis, Intercompany Accounting, Bank Accounting)

    Knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) configuration and integration points with the other SAP modules (i.e., FI, MM, SD, and WM).

    Additional Skills:

    * Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex, cross-functional requirements and challenges.

    Ability to develop process maps, project plans, cutover and conversion plans, technical specifications, user guides and other documentation.
    * Ability to work efficiently with team members from different geographical locations and expertise backgrounds.
    * Excellent customer service skills, computer knowledge and skills, and effective oral and written communication skills.
    * Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.

    The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
    Travel: This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
