    Overview:


    Turn 14 Distribution is currently searching for a Warehouse Operations Manager that will oversee the day-to-day operations of our distribution center.

    This role is critical in managing our rapidly growing operation, and we will rely on this person for front line management as well as idea creation and implementation to help improve our productivity and quality.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic:
    Formulates, envisions, and realizes Distribution Center operations initiatives 3-6 months in advance.
    Initiate, formulate, and execute policy and procedures to continuously improve performance, maximize efficiency, and optimize cost-effectiveness.
    Ability to lead across all levels of the organization from entry-level to assistant manager.

    Work with the Training & Development Coach to create & execute development plans to ensure appropriate succession planning/career growth for all warehouse employees.


    Operational:
    100% accountable for Warehouse operations, WMS systems, and equipment.
    Responsible for 50+ Warehouse Associates.
    Establish performance metrics that allow for incentivizing optimal performance.
    Partner with all departments, internal and external, related to purchasing, transportation, accounting, customer service & sales.
    Resolve a wide range of issues that effect Distribution Center productivity, ranging from daily processes to capital improvements.
    Meets deadlines & service level agreements to our standards, on time all the time.
    Maintain high levels of quality and accuracy in both shipping and receiving. This includes ensuring all outbound orders are shipped before the deadline to our high quality and accuracy standards. All inbound orders continuously maintaining accuracy during check-in.
    Resolve receiving damages and claims.
    Define, monitor & make changes in processes or procedures to ensure work is performed safely.
    Interviewing, hiring, coaching, training, performance evaluations, corrective action, terminations.
    Understand the investigation and resolution process of inventory discrepancies.
    Conduct 2 complete Cycle Counts to balance all Warehouse inventory.
    Manage labor hours to maximize efficiency while utilizing slower periods for projects and housekeeping.
    Manages building including maintenance, improvements, and security, which may occur in off-hours. This includes lights, garage door, dock plates, plumbing, electrical, and conveyor maintenance.
    Schedules preventative maintenance for conveyor, cherry pickers, forklifts, etc.
    Interpret data, reports, schedules, and projections to use resources efficiently.
    Submit monthly status reports on overall Distribution Center Performance metrics.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Associate's Degree required
    5 years' progressive experience in a fast-paced Distribution Center; e-commerce preferred
    Minimum 3 years' experience leading large and diverse Warehouse teams to success
    Positive attitude and high energy
    Superb analytic skills, familiar with 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and/or Lean
    Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate
    Knowledge of supply chain and the DC's position in it
    Experience with responsibility for the complete logistics of a DC
    Experience with responsibility for building, facilities, and equipment
    Detail-oriented, competitive, and driven
