    Apex Systems is currently seeking a Quality Technician
    for one of our top Medical Device clients in Maple Grove, MN

    Description:
    About the role:

    The Quality Technician role directly supports medical device product development from concept through commercialization
    This position will work with high-performance cross-functional sustaining team to ensure safety, quality and compliance of launched products while continuously improving their commercial value through end-of-life
    This position will focus on hands on testing and assisting in test development to satisfy product requirements.


    Your responsibilities include:
    Actively promote and participate in a cross-functional teamwork environment.
    Support testing efforts to satisfy product
    requirements for design verification.
    Execution of testing per documented work instructions.
    Support Engineers in development and help to facilitate the execution of Design Validation and Verification activities.

    Perform various tasks to support test lab daily operations, such as lab organization, assisting in assembling equipment and fixturing, stocking lab supplies, and ordering equipment.

    Assisting in equipment tracking and organization.
    Perform tasks that assist in identifying, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
    Document results of testing thoroughly and accurately.


    Minimum qualifications:
    Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems and a bias for action
    Hands-on approach to work
    Strong communication skills
    Mechanical aptitude
    Desire to learn new skills
    Willingness to perform a wide variety of work tasks
    Experience using Microsoft Office


    Preferred qualifications:
    2 year technical degree (Preferred)
    Previous experience running testing equipment
    0-2 years of experience in quality, product development or related medical device / regulated industry experience
    Experience using Solid modeling (Solidworks preferred)
