    Expertise in reinforced concrete and steel design.

    Direct Experience in the planning, design and construction of:
    Public water supply, treatment, storage and distribution systems.
    Municipal wastewater collection systems and pump station.
    Wastewater treatment systems including BNR processes and sludge handling facilities.
    Expertise in construction observation and supervision/management of field personnel.
    Expertise in environmental permitting, funding and regulatory requirements.
    ENGINEERING DIVISION LEADER – CIVIL/ TRANSPORTATION

    Expertise in Municipal Engineering including development review and client management
    Expertise in Transportation Engineering and Stormwater Management
    Expertise in construction supervision/management.
    Expertise in floodplain management, permitting, funding and regulatory requirements
    Expertise with low and medium Voltage industrial distribution
    Firm working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NFPA 70) including Article 500-Hazardous (Classified) Locations
    Experience with preparing short circuit studies, protective device coordination studies, and arc flash hazards analyses.
    Instrumentation and control and Supervisory Control and Date Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
    Expertise in preparation and review of electrical schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and single line drawings
    Experience in the preparation procurement specifications for electrical distributions and controls equipment.
    Experience in providing support for project construction on-site testing, system startup and troubleshooting.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    The Engineering Technician/CADD Operator will handle preparing engineering plans, surveys, 3D Modeling and exhibits using AGETK, ESRI, and MicroStation. The technician may work on survey crews in the field and perform field inspections from time to time. You must be a hard-working, self-motivated individual with a desire to learn.

    You must have completed at least 2 years of higher education, and possess an Associate in Applied Science degree (or comparable).


    Specific tasks include:
    Import field data from Land Surveyors
    Draw and Annotate Topographic Surveys
    Draw and Annotate Existing Conditions
    Draw and Annotate Proposed Horizontal and
    Vertical Geometry
    Prepare Utility Plan and Profiles
    Generate Profiles and Cross Sections from
    Existing Conditions
    Prepare 3D Models of Proposed Improvements

    To achieve this, you will work as part of a team, under the direction of the Division Leader and the Senior CADD Technician, who will provide training and support, until you are proficient enough with the software and engineering practices to work independently.

    Your work will allow the company to continue to meet the needs of our clients, while also expanding our client base and work load capabilities.
