Job Overview:
Reports to: Operations ManagerLocation: Everett, WAType: Full-TimeSchedule: 1st ShiftValence Surface Technologies production is open 24 hours per day.


All shifts are as follows:
1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm, 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm 6:30am)

Job Summary:
Paint helpers are responsible for preparing a variety of parts for painting

Job Description:
Assist the Painter in daily activities not involving actual spraying of paintPrepare parts by hand sanding and solvent cleaningMix a variety of chromate and non-chromated primers and topcoatsLay parts out and maneuver for eased application of paintComplete work order and necessary paperwork during paint processAccurately process and document oven charts and temperaturesSweeping and cleaning the paint shop as necessaryObserve safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing while performing daily activitiesManage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulationsSetup and label cubic yard hazardous waste storage boxesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Accountability

Requirements:

Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (Required)Experience- No experience required

Benefits:

Compensation Range:
$17.50 to $19.82 per hours (DOE) + shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Work Environment:
Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions.

Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
