Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our neonatology team. As a Nurse Practitioner in our neonatology department, you will be responsible for providing patient care for neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and assisting in the management of their medical needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU.
Perform physical examinations and assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, and prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the neonatology team.
Communicate with families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.
Provide education and support to families of neonates in the NICU.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing.
Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with neonatal experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in neonatal nursing.
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
