Job summary
The Senior Buyer is responsible for supporting tactical and operational purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.This role will manage purchase requisitions convert them into purchase orders (POs) maintain purchasing-related reporting and dashboards assist with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Purchasing & Procurement
- Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders (POs) within SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Monitor open POs follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery proper documentation. Maintain accurate purchasing records documentation.Sysytems & Reporting
Maintain update procurement dashboards reporting tools track key metrics e.g., PO status delivery performance spend categories.Process & Training Support
Assist creation revision maintenance of purchasing SOPs workflow documentation.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Communicate effectively internal stakeholders suppliers cross-functional teams resolve issues maintain smooth procurement operations.
