    JOB SUMMARY:
    Drive product qualification plans, generate related quality documentation, and implement quality plans for new production, revisions, and improvement projects. Products manufactured are high tolerance, machined casted engine components.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for driving PPAP completion on new products and revisions.
    • Develop inspection criteria, control plans, and implement inspection plans.
    • Monitor assigned product lines for improvement opportunities.
    • Responsible for print reviews and provide necessary feedback for feasibility (DFM).
    • Troubleshoot processes with data to support production.
    • Determine root cause and implement corrective actions to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
    • Deploy inspection equipment and train personnel as needed.
    • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3 years Quality Engineering experience OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related) with internship experience.
    • Solid understanding of GD&T.
    • Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Previous experience OR interest in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

    PREFERENCES:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    • 3 years Quality Engineering experience
    • 2 years of CNC Machining experience
    • Experience leading Six Sigma programs
    • CMM Programming experience
    • First article inspection experience
