Social Worker

This role exists due to a grant received by the City of Peoria to implement a co-responder model for mental health professionals to respond to calls with the Peoria Police for individuals that need the assistance of mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively listens to presenting issues, uses motivational interviewing skills and crisis intervention techniques ensure safety determine appropriate cause action
• Exercise judgment decision making clinically safe logical deliberate manner reach resolution crisis clinically appropriate least restrictive
