    Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to join our Finance Department. The Finance Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the firm by assisting our project accountants with client invoices, entering data into our Finance software, assisting with vendor payments, reconciling insurance bills, and other ad hoc projects and tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare draft client invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Assist in requesting certificates of insurance for various consultants and ensuring compliance with company policies.
    • Post timesheets daily and maintain accurate records.
    • Finalize client invoices with necessary supporting documentation and ensure accuracy.
    • Scan, save, and mail vendor payments promptly.
    • Reconcile insurance bills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Assist with other special projects and tasks as needed by the Finance Department and other corporate departments.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in finance, accounting, or business preferred.
    • 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative functions involving record-keeping or related areas.
    • High proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office, including Word, and Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
    • Basic mathematical and accounting skills.
    • Ability to work well independently and within a group setting.

    This Finance Coordinator role is a part-time hourly position, approximately 25 hours per week. Candidates should be available to work Monday through Friday during regular business hours, although we are flexible with scheduling within this timeframe. We understand the importance of balancing work commitments with personal responsibilities, and therefore offer a hybrid schedule. After an initial 90-day period, employees will have the opportunity to work remotely for up to two days per week, promoting flexibility and accommodating individual preferences while ensuring productivity and collaboration.
