    Duties include assisting the regional manager with ensuring employees follow all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to the storage, delivery, and usage of all products that the company supplies.

    The Plant Manager is instrumental in ensuring the plant operates within the guidelines of the budget and provides other services as requested by management.


    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Plant Performance:
    Provides feedback to senior management regarding plant performanceMaintains adequate systems knowledge and provides support to regional managerResponsible for inventory managementResponsible for meeting budget revenue guidelinesEvaluates daily, weekly, and monthly plant reporting as required by plant and/or regional managerEnsures that daily, weekly, monthly functions to be performed at each plant are performed as requiredLeads staff in collection efforts and must closely monitor accounts and overall AR activityMonitor and implement all safety practices as regarded by regulatory agencies and company policiesResponsible for the coordination of fleet maintenance, safety records, DOT files/records with Pico Propane and Fuels fleet management and complianceSchedules and dispatches all drivers and service techniciansResponsible for accounts receivable for the region and closely monitor accountsAssists with propane dispensing, fuel deliveries, and service technician work as neededCoordinates safety initiatives with the director of safety and implements as directed

    Personnel Management:
    Assists with recruiting and hiring, while responsible for onboarding and training employees based on criteria agreed upon by senior managementDuties will include managing tasks, staff meetings, development programs and operational reports as neededDevelops, managers and schedules training for plant field staffCoordinates with administration the compliance of office staff with established company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping proceduresDemonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employeesAdheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team

    Customer Service:
    Resolves customer problems by clarifying customer complaints; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolutionResponsible for achieving acceptable customer positive reviews on review platform Ensure region personnel provides timely and professional responses to all customer inquiriesThe absence of specific statements of duties does not exclude those tasks from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position

    QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:
    Proven leadership with the ability to motivate and coach a teamAbility to attain necessary certifications to ensure plant successAbility to speak clearly, professionally, and eloquently, with the ability to be responsiveAbility to use active listening skills, while giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriateAbility to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaintsAbility to handle multiple demands at one timeProficient in the current Microsoft Office SuiteEducation, Certification,

    Licenses Required:

    An associate's degree or high school diploma/GED with at least two (2) years of management experience and experience in general trades such as plumbing, mechanics, etc.

    ; or a combination of experience and education that results in the required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesMust have a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordCDL-A with hazmat and tanker endorsements (preferred)

    Physical, Mental, Behavioral Requirements:
