    Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management

    The Associate Vice President, Enrollment Management (AVP-EM) serves as the chief enrollment officer providing leadership, strategic thinking, and management of a comprehensive enrollment management program that incorporates best practices in recruitment, admissions, and financial aid at Central Washington University. The AVP-EM oversees the Office of Admissions and Student Financial Services. The AVP-EM is a dynamic leader and strategist within the Division of Student Engagement & Success and works closely with the Vice President of Student Engagement & Success (VP, SES) to ensure that enrollment strategies and efforts are aligned with CWU's strategic vision and mission.

    The AVP-EM is an active and visible leader who collaborates broadly across the university community. The Associate Vice President collaborates with the Executive Director of Marketing to create a seamless and integrated recruitment and marketing plan. The AVP-EM employs recruitment, enrollment, and financial aid strategies that align with national best practices, and collects and harnesses data and analytics to shape, explain, model, and project enrollment trends.

    This position has direct oversight of recruitment, admissions operations, campus visitation, early college outreach, and new student orientation; works with the Director of Student Financial Services (SFS) to lead financial aid and scholarship awards; and works toward a seamless and collaborative integration of both departments. In collaboration with key constituents throughout the University, the AVP-EM effectively articulates and promotes CWU's vision, mission, and education programs to prospective students, their support networks, and other constituencies. CWU is an emerging Hispanic Serving Institute with 22% Latinx students.     • Required qualifications include a master's degree in higher education, marketing, communications, counseling, or related field; and,
    • At least seven (7) years of demonstrated, and increasingly responsible, experience in leading college admissions, student recruitment, enrollment management, and/or financial aid.
    • Experience working with budgets, including being comfortable conducting budget projections, generating reports, reviewing expenditures, and recognizing inconsistencies.
    • Competency in analyzing admissions and financial aid data and assessing activities as part of a strategic enrollment management plan and initiatives.
    • Demonstrated experience collaborating with departments and leaders across the university landscape (for example: Institutional Effectiveness, Research and Planning, University Advancement, Marketing/University Relations, University Housing, etc.) to meet enrollment targets and enhance the student experience.

    We're offering a salary, depending on experience, from $138,695 - $221,912 annually plus exceptional CWU benefits.
