- Reviewing and analyzing different aspects of the case
- Review medical records to make sure all data is current and accurate
- Review the medical bills to assure that the medical balances align with the medical reports including reviewing proper CPT codes
- Review police reports/incident reports to make sure that all our clients are listed
- Review all client demographics to be correct in all documents
- Review all proper documentation relevant to the injury
- Identify strengths and weaknesses based on factual perspectives
- Identify potential risk and make sure these risks are brought to the attorney's attention and the NP supervisor
- Assess damages: lost wages, pain and suffering and other related costs
- Inform the NP client case managers if there is a correction that needs to be made
- Make sure cases are being worked on according to the policy limits
- Review client communication to and from the client based on the notes
- Inform management if the staff is not correcting their mistakes
- Assure the quality of the file based on knowledge and evidence
- Provide reports on the advancement of the files
- Make sure the file is converted to "Progression complete" upon completion and let the case managers know so they can inform the personal injury attorney
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of basic office equipment and technology
