    The
    Export & Compliance Analyst is primarily responsible for conducting level 1 review and resolution of red flags generated by screening tools used to conduct due diligence on Xerox customers, suppliers, and third-party intermediaries, and for supporting level 2 review and resolution of red flags by the Export Compliance Manager.

    This position will also support the immediate efforts of the Senior Director to achieve continual improvement of the Export Compliance function and will work to improve and execute all aspects of Xerox export compliance programs, including process design, periodic self-testing, training and education, and business strategy review.

    In addition, this position will support the broader efforts of the Compliance Leader to ensure that Xerox adheres to all relevant government regulations and industry standards beyond the due diligence required to maintain Export Compliance.

    In this role, the Export & Compliance Analyst will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, remain current with new and existing regulations, regularly review the company's policies, and manage the compliance risk assessment program.


    Export Control responsibilities:

    • Understand and apply U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. and foreign sanctions restrictions, and company export policies, and monitor regulatory and policy environments as they relate to applicable export laws and regulations.
    • Perform thorough, accurate and documented compliance review and resolution of level 1 red flags generated by due diligence screening tools and support the Export Compliance Manager to resolve level 2 red flag reviews.
    • Support the Senior Director to achieve continual improvement of the Export Compliance function, including process design, self-testing, training and education, and business strategy review.

    Compliance responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to ensure that the company's statutory compliance risks are identified and understood and mitigated, and that mitigation efforts are reviewed to assess their effectiveness.
    • Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
    • Maintain a legal inventory summarizing key laws and regulations material to corporate compliance.
    • Manage the annual compliance risk assessment process to identify, evaluate, and prioritize legal and regulatory risks.
    • Analyze and support updates to existing compliance policies, procedures and related documentation.
    • Assist in the preparation of an annual report to senior leaders.

    Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, pre-law, or science/engineering.
    • 3 years of experience working in a multinational company engaged in global import/export activities with responsibility for conducting export compliance screening of customers, suppliers, and third-party intermediaries.
    • Current knowledge of export & compliance requirements and standards.
    • Advanced analytical abilities and familiarity with the operation of due diligence screening platforms.
    • Effective research and professional networking skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Collaborative and curious to learn, with a demonstrated commitment to integrity and compliance with the rule of law.
    • Proficiency with MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    Desired qualifications:

    • Accredited export controls and/or sanctions compliance certification.
    • Accredited compliance management certification.
    • Additional experience as a compliance analyst in a field outside of the Export Compliance function.
    • Familiarity with anti-bribery / anti-corruption (ABAC) laws and compliance requirements.
    • Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism Financing (AML/CFT) laws and compliance requirements.
