    Thinkso specializes in sophisticated B2B professional services, with clients in the finance, technology, legal, and business consulting sectors.     About the Position

    Thinkso is looking for a graphic design intern for Summer 2024

    (Exact dates are dependent on your availability and our needs.)

    Location

    Although our company is fully remote, several of our designers work at a co-working space in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. Our summer intern would work full time (37.5 hours/week) at our co-working space 3 – 5 days, and from home 0 – 2 days per week (depending on your situation).

    Roles & Responsibilities

    During your internship, you'll be supporting Thinkso's creative teams and working directly with Thinkso designers. You'll work on projects for our clients, which can range from brand identity systems, websites, marketing applications (print and digital), animation, video, and more. You may also work on projects for Thinkso's own promotional purposes (social media, website, etc.).

    Qualifications

    To qualify, you must:

    • Be in your junior or senior year of college, majoring in graphic/communications design OR have a college degree in graphic/communications design.
    • Be comfortable working closely with and being directed by senior team members in a highly iterative, sometimes fast-paced environment.
    • Have expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Figma experience is a plus. After Effects experience is a big plus.
    • Have a solid grasp on layout, typography, hierarchy, and color sensibility.
    • Understand how to use brand guidelines and translate a brand identity into multiple designs in varying formats.
    • Provide a portfolio that demonstrates brand expression.
    • Have a can-do and never-let-it-fail attitude
    • Align with Thinkso's core values

    Compensation

    • $16 per hour
    • Overtime pay (1.5x) for hours worked beyond 40 per week at Thinkso's request
