- 1-3 years of hospital experience preferred

Description
Summary:
Radiologic Technologist will perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, providing support for other imaging technologists as necessary. The technologist may work in different locations and must troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve image processing issues. Behavior and communication skills must align with the organization's principles and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Conducts diagnostic procedures, including some complex ones, with proper technique and patient instructions.
- Evaluates patients for clinical history and contra-indications before procedures.
- Adheres to protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Interacts effectively with patients and care providers, prioritizing procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Rotates within departments and clinics for coverage as needed.
- Assists in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures to locate anatomical sites.
- Maintains exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with infection control standards.
- Codes charges accurately and ensures entry completion.
- Adapts methods to meet the unique needs of each patient served.
- Protects patient confidentiality and upholds CHRISTUS Health Care values.
- Performs assigned duties and additional tasks as required.
