- High School diploma or GED
- Valid food handler's card from Tulsa Health Department
- Must be proficient in the following areas:
- Automated equipment setup, tear down and repair
- Maintenance and repair of motor controls, general industrial wiring and hardware, and electrical troubleshooting
- Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains, sprockets, pipe fitting, and appropriate lubrication of mechanical systems
- Basic Mig and Tig welding for repair purposes
- The use of shop machinery including mills, lathes, drill presses and normal industrial tools for repair purposes
- Math and reading comprehension to understand and interpret technical manuals, bulletins, blueprints and schematics
- 2 years electrical/electronics degree or equivalent training / experience
- 5 years Maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry
- Maintenance and repair of AC Inverters, DC controllers, and servo systems
- PLC Troubleshooting
- First Class Stationary Engineer license
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Proven safety record in past work history

At Bama,the Maintenance Technician provides industrial maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of the production facility. Key responsibilities include automated equipment setup, tear down, troubleshooting and repair of systems comprised of PLCs, motor controls, electrical wiring, AC inverters, DC controllers, and industrial mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains and sprockets. The use of shop machinery and normal industrial tools for repair purposes supports fulfillment of these responsibilities.
Keys to success will be the individual's knowledge of manufacturing systems, the skills needed to maintain, repair and troubleshoot those systems, and the ability to effectively interact with fellow team members and internal customers.
