The Cancer Health Service Line at Corewell Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Hematology program.
Our patients and their families benefit from innovative, cutting-edge treatments and state-of-the-art programs and services.We specialize in treating the most complex types of cancers and each treatment plan is as unique as the patient who receives it.
We invite you to explore the most comprehensive and robust cancer program in West Michigan.This position will support our growing Hematology needs with an opportunity to see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
You will work at Butterworth Hospital and Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion, on our medical mile in downtown Grand Rapids, with an occasional need for consultation at our Blodgett Hospital campus, in nearby East Grand Rapids.

This is a full-time position, ideally working five 8-hour shifts per week with an option for four 10-hour shifts weekly.
Once onboarded, there will be a need to participate in a weekend rotation and outpatient call (phone only).The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Hematology Advanced Practice Provider, but new graduates will also be considered with demonstrated experience or special interest in oncology.
Job SummaryResponsible for managing patients and coordinating the services provided by multiple disciplines within and outside the health system. Maintains a collaborative practice agreement with specific physician(s). Exercises independent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis and initiation of selected protocols/procedures.
Provides educational support for patients/significant others, health team members and the community and coordinates QA/QI studies to measure outcomes of care.
