    Description

    Pay: $25.70-$34.63 /Hour At CoreCivic, our employees are driven bya deep sense of service, high standards of professionalism and aresponsibility to better the publicgood. CoreCivic is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses who have apassion for providing the highest quality care in an institutionalsetting.

    Thesuccessful candidate should be able to perform ALL of the followingfunctions at a pace and level of performance consistent with theactual job performance requirements.

      Apply appropriate nursing skills in the care andtreatment of inmates/residents. Attend sick call with the physician to seeinmates/residents; prepare a list of inmates/residents to beexamined; prepare examining room andequipment.
    1. Operate pill call,dispense medication and document as required by applicable policiesand/or procedures.
    2. Control medication, syringes and other medical suppliesor equipment and inventory as required by establishedprocedures.
    3. Maintain absolutesecurity and confidentiality of all medicalrecords.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate froman approved school of nursing with a certificate as a LicensedPractical Nurse.
    • Must be licensed in thestate of employment.
    • A validdriver's license is required.
